Filipino motivational speaker Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was the main speaker of the seminar, who talked about a student’s life purpose after college. In his presentation, he shared how he began his voice acting career with a dream to hear his voice on the radio greeting his mother on air, and how that dream has evolved into a vision of making the Philippines the center of voiceover excellence in Asia. Pocholo spoke about his company, Creativoices Productions, as well as his voice acting school that opened the door of the voice acting industry to thousands of aspiring voice artists and even broadcasters, hosts, and public speakers.

Pocholo spoke a little bit about National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal, as the epitome of the greatness and excellence of Filipinos. He shared a lot of little-known facts about Rizal, and encouraged the students to imbibe the ideals and principles of the great man.

Pocholo jumped right into the heart of his talk, about how to discover one’s life purpose. He emphasized that even as students, every person should know the “why” behind what they do, including the course that they chose and the career path they intend to follow. Pocholo helped the students understand what it means to discover one’s life purpose, and gave them five questions to answer that would enable them to do so. He encouraged the students to identify their passion, skills and talents and grab every opportunity available to maximize them.
